On Februari 20, 2020, Grimsholm Products AB has acquired the TimberCut brand and business from the TimberCut in Huskvarna company group.
TimberCut is a well-known brand in Europe for chainsaw accessories and is available in more than 10 countries for many years. The products are mainly distributed through high quality-focused specialty stores. Countries with existing distribution of TimberCut are Italy, Germany, Spain and Poland but also countries where Grimsholm Products AB has no distribution today, like Serbia, Greece, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria among others.
– As earlier stated, this will be a very offensive year for Grimsholm. Through this acquisition of TimberCut, we advance from a joint venture partnership to a fully merged solution with the best of possibilities to grow fast within forest product range. We do not only acquire market shares but also we secure competence and know-how within a prioritized product group, says Denniz Gustafsson, CEO, Grimsholm Products AB.
Dagh Larsson, the founder of TimberCut, and with more than 36 year’s experience of developing and distribution of high-quality products within the specific product category, will take place in the development team of Grimsholm Products as Product Director of forestry accessories.
– After spending more or less my whole working life within the forest product industry I have achieved a fantastic network of people but also specific product expertise. Together with Grimsholm and their impressing growth plan I have now the possibility to take the next step and scale the chain saw accessory assortment all over Europe.
